Recorded on November 14, 2019, between 12.10 and 12.20. Compare with the sound of the river captured on Sounds/Harvest, Night time, August 2019.
1. The Zoom H4n with wind baffle, placed on the stone parapet of the bridge inside an open plastic box for rain protection, facing into the oncoming river. Occasional raindrops audible.
2. The same recording configuration, placed on the upper rail of the wooden fence of the horse paddock, through which the burst river upstream was impatiently flowing back into the river by the bridge, creating a temporary weir. A 4 x 4 goes through the flooded road at about 47 seconds without slowing down, sending a bow wave into the recordist.
